Well, it’s in the air that- “Today Everyone is opening startups in CSE and most don’t get success”.

Still for those who think they can’t think of “STARTING UP”. Let’s just think about it. Let’s have a thought.

There are certain directions in which one can think of Startups.

  1. Mobile Apps: Can you create a mobile app in a month or two? Well, the answer is yes. Think of an Idea of an app (which people need or would like to use or no one else thought about it yet or maybe you just thought about it in your dreams). Then, take out time to build a small functional app. After that, do some calculations about the resources you need, time taken, company of friends you would need, tutorials available or not, any other mode of income or not, feasible to work upon it or not. Learn JAVA/Cutlet + Android Studio (SDK) + Pick an integrated course (Rather than roaming here and there on the internet) + Practice much+ Build your own app. Reference: Link
  2. Design a digital application/Software for PC/Web Application: Examples can be Google Chrome, Skype, Notepad, Wordpad, Git Kraken, etc. So just innovate or thing of an idea of an application that might help a lot of people around you. Like you can build a research assistant for Ph.D. researchers, or maybe think of something easy like an app that creates “MEMES”. 😂 It’s an idea just but maybe people want it. After that, start learning the technologies behind it. Tools and Technologies- Search for yourself. There exist many courses, tutorials. Just you need 1 thing with you- “MOTIVATION”. You may find out solutions for business, companies around you too.
  3. Games Development: Are you a game lover? 😍 😍 😍 . Well, think of an idea of a game which might be new, innovative, addictive, exciting, tricky, etc. Only then it would survive in this hugely competitive market of games. It’s tough but not impossible. Well, this field needs you to be a good coder. Understand basic algorithms and then move on to implement tough algorithms in the best possible time complexity. The user interface must be good enough to attract users. If you create your own game and publish it on google play store then you might get a chance to apply in some amazing gaming companies. Just learn technologies as you go, and be motivated throughout.
  4. Online Testing Applications: These days many private and government companies conduct online tests to judge the best caliber. You can start developing testing platforms and contact the companies by providing them your product. If they like the platform and product, they might buy it. See, Computer Science has got plenty of opportunities. You can choose Php, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, any web development tool for frontend. For backend- Ruby, Python, and SQL are a must. So keep learning, keep innovating.
  5. PC Customization Apps: Today, most people want to customize their PC according to their own choice. Some people work in developing themes for PC and mobiles. So it’s for people who are interested in design. The Link is a very good example of customizing your PC.
  6. PC/Mobile Security: You may start working in the field of cybersecurity, where new digital technologies are needed to cope up with the competition. You may devote time to come up with new and better ideas for password generation, biometric security apps, QR code scanners, antivirus, firewalls, etc.
  7. Digital Marketing and Advertisements Ideas: Many startups today want marketing and advertisement within their low budget. ORGANIC advertising is an unpaid advertisement that a company gets. Either the company has a product which is in itself too good that it attracts organic traffic or the paid advertisement needs to be too good with an average product. The choice is yours. Innovative ideas to generate organic traffic and backlinks is the current trend.
  8. Becoming an Online Tutor: Many people like Nikunj Vasoya (Teaches about farming in Gujarat on his YouTube channel), Siraj Raval (Teaches ML/AI), etc. Many people make reviews about products, comments about other videos, funny videos, pet animals related videos. Overall, if you can understand what people like to see and which tutorial may attract a wide audience, you can run a business just by your tutorials.
  9. Publishing Online Blogs/Books/Magazines: Like Medium.com itself, a place to publish articles, many people do write articles, blogs, tutorials, magazines online and get heavily paid. Some people like to share things, some people want to learn more, while others think, it’s a way to create a community of like-minded people. While publishing a paper, you may explain your paper thoroughly with the help of mathematical equations, figures, and facts to improve citations and h-index. Or aware people towards your contribution to the research community. This is a continuous learning process and you understand your research better.

Computer Science is a science that is nonlinear, it’s a circular path. Wherever you start, you can still reach at the other end. Whatever technology you learn first doesn’t affect the goal and learning process in it continues forever !!!!

You are your only limit. you can think whatever you can. That’s what humans have been doing since the awakening-
